The home you see in the picture above is not unlike most of the homes in Sierra Leone. In fact, many of our students don't even have walls in place like the ones you see above... for many of them, they simply have a tarp draped over a tree branch or old potato sacks woven together in place of a wall...

Imagine yourself calling that "home" for a moment. Imagine sleeping here. Imagine showering with the dirty water, often littered with trash and sewage, that streams next to your home.

Day in and day out... and then imagine sharing that space with 2-3 other adults and 2-6 children...

It's hard for us to imagine, but it's the reality our students face each and every day.
