For the last 26 years, SLIMS AFRICA has grown from one school for forty orphaned children to the largest school in Sierra Leone, with 5 campuses and over 5,000 students. Additionally, we expanded to include a healthcare clinic which provides free healthcare for expecting mothers, children ages 5 and under, and our school students.

All while investing 99% of every donation directly to the school, something unheard of in the non-profit world.

While we have seen great growth in the last 26 years, there is still much to be done.

Sierra Leone ranks as the 8th poorest country in the world, with an adult literacy rate of 41%, compared to a global literacy rate of more than 80%. Sierra Leone also ranks 114 out of 119 countries on the Global Hunger Index.

These children are the world's most vulnerable for death, disease, crime, hunger, malnutrition, and alarming rates of poverty.
